The project developed along with cubed collective, explored the changes Caledonian road experimented in the past 30 years; After an intense research with the collaboration of Islington Archives and Metropolitan Archives, we collected a huge number of photographs and information about the area. Inspired by the redevelopment of Kings Cross we offered the community groups of Caledonian road several workshops including viewings of Old photographs from the archives over different years, interviews in community centres, the streets, local businesses, local pubs etc, recording and filming peoples opinions about local changes (positive and negative aspects of it) and personal anecdotes of theirs lives. Collage workshops using remarkable images or iconic places. Photography workshops etc. We presented the results in a final public street exhibition and we are currently working on a book where some of the interviews and new photographs will be included.
